Hi, guys. First time posting here. I don't play snooker at the moment (never have done, interestingly enough), but I watch a hell of a lot of it on TV and on YouTube. I currently play blackball pool as a hobby, although I would love to give snooker a shot in the near future.
Anyway, here's my cue. Got it a few weeks ago on Amazon:
• Cuesoul 58" 3/4 (rosewood and maple butt; ash shaft)
• 6" rosewood butt extension
• Elkmaster tip

The cue on the left is a cue given to my dad by his mate in the late 80s. I don't know anything else about it. The word at the bottom is 'whirlwind' and there is a number in the middle of that shape which is 1928.
The cue in the middle is my cue. The butt had a brass plate on it which I was going to engrave but I ended up using a hacksaw to cut off that part because the cue was too long. I asked a cue doctor to add two inches to it which he did perfectly but I soon realised I should have just asked for 1 inch.
I can't remember where I got the cue on the right from. It's more of a rack cue and not very nice to play with but I like the Embassy logo. I always wanted an Embassy towel and my bro said he could get one from his mate who works at Imperial Tobacco but it never happened.
I would be grateful for any info on the Whirlwind cue as I've always wondered where its from.Attached FilesLast edited by MrRottweiler; 31 March 2016, 11:02 PM.
