Finally got my Robin Cook cue today!!! Decided to rip off the limited edition Coutts & Robin cue's original design, I wanted something Red, White(ish) and Black to represent the football club I've supported all my life, but I went with cocobolo for the butt splice instead for a slightly different flavor, plus I liked the not-too-overly-complicated design. I also got a matching mini-butt too. It's the best cue I've ever owned, it puts my old Parris Ultimate to shame! Played a few hours with it and it was absolutely brilliant! A few club regulars couldn't help but walk over and asked about the cue !
I have to give a full 10/10 for Robin, an absolute top bloke in built quality as well as communication, kept me constantly updated and responds to emails lightning fast. He's not mentioned a lot on this forum, but he's definitely up there amongst the best cue makers.
Specs: 3/4 joint, 57.5", 18.5oz, spliced with ebony, olive wood and cocobolo.
