Looks lovely, I didn’t know Andy Gibbs used a quick release joint. Looks very similar to the one Cue Craft used to use.

Hi there, i've just got this nice Andrew Gibbs, 3/4, ash, ebony, maple veneer, 57/14, 18.9oz, 8.7mm. Butt needs a reoil i think, but it's straight as an arrow and feels great. Not tried it yet... Gibbs 1.jpg Gibbs 2.jpg Gibbs 3.jpg Gibbs 4.jpg Gibbs 5.jpg

Just received it after a re-splice and a new badge as the older one was unsuable. The cue feels the same after the repair. Very satisfied with the workmanship.

The buggers might have dropped the cue at the airport to check it. There are hairline cracks above and below the badge. The cue's tip was also removed. I added a new tip to test it. Sent it back to Crispian, he was kind enough to agree to re-splice it free of charge. I just had to ship it. Will post the pics once it's back here.
