Yeah iPod touch does, on topic like it has been said before the raw materials may be cheap but it is the labour and end result that you pay for. Would you feel ripped off buying a tv for 500 pounds when the materials to make it cost less than 100 no you wouldn't. Same with cuesAge:17 full time snooker player hoping to get somewhere in the future!

That's correct. Although there are some exceptions... Mike Wooldridge for
example makes cues with "butterfly splices". These are machine made but
rounded and have only two splices.
EDIT: poolqjunkie: I doubt that because if he did so, he would have to get
some extreeeeeemely cheap cues from somewhere else to put his badge
on, sell them and still make profit. Maybe if he's Mother TheresaLast edited by mooneyy; 11 April 2009, 05:46 PM.

Does anyone here know him or have been to his shop?
Does it matter?
Thank you.

I really can't understand why people bang on about price all the time. Let's face it, no-one is forcing anyone to buy the damn thing. If it's what you consider to be "too expensive", then buy something cheaper, simple. But remember, cheaper doesn't mean better
My cue got nicked several years ago, and I'd gladly pay a couple of grand to have it returned. It wasn't an expensive cue, it was just an Aeon which cost me £90 2nd hand, but I loved it and played really well with it. It isn't worth a couple of hundred quid to anyone else, but I deem it to be worth much more, and at the end of the day that's what matters. I stopped playing and have just recently taken the game back up after falling out with it for many years, and now need to look at getting a cue made for me with similar specs. It won't matter to me what price the cue comes to, so long as I deem it to be value for money to me. So if Mike would like to send me a wee PM we could discuss how big a discount I'm getting

Jim has been making cues for many years, but as someone pointed out purely out of interest and also as a hobbie. This does mean Jim takes a lot of pride in his work. We have supplied Jim with Ebony, ash, joints etc for his cues. Occasionally we get some of Jims cues and pleased to say his cues have got better & better. Nice on Jim.
