Right for £60 you won't get a handmade cue anyway, JJB have a selection for these prices, I would stay away from the Jimmy White or Ronnie O'Sullivan branded cues and go for, Cue Craft or Peradon.
Also have a look on eBay, your local snooker hall may also be able to help you out, if you find a cue that you like which is the right weight, look and feel STOP don't get it, have a shop around for the same cue else where first, there is always somebody with a better deal.
I used the above strategy two days a go when getting a new camera and saved nearly £200
Can anyone give advice as to which make of cue is the best?
cheers
As someone who always try to get the best for his £ my advice is spend a little more. It's perfectly reasonable to expect a decebt piece of wood for that money but really what you get might be a sticky painted thing with a rubbish tip, so have a good look around!
Stay away from cues with big rubber stops on the end, and stickers (unreal!)
Thanks for the help guys!
Apart from my local snooker club the craigpark masters is there any good shops to buy cues
?
I don't fancy and ones from the net I want to try it out first.
I have been in JJB but there cues are bollox.
Are Greeves any good?
cheers
