  • Cue delivery hints for overseas

Looking to purchase a quality 3/4 cue later this year in the 500 gbp price range. Biggest fear is safety of delivery and what will happen to the cue in transit.

    1. Any ideas/tips/hints on how to ensure the cue remains in good condition?
    2. What do I do if the cue cracks/warps in transit?
    3. Are there any cue makers that would be able to sell a hand made and provide a warranty for the shipment?
    4. What if I don't like the cue (also a scary though)?

when you buy the cue also buy a strong aliuminium case with it most cue makers sell them and ask them to post the cue in the case then wrapped up. most cue makers use the same carrier to deliver there cues and they will know the best way to send it insurance and all that i know that if you buy a cue from martin chesworth in sheffield he has a very large selection of cues from osborne, mastercue, parris is own and a nice choice of wooldridge cues. he uses a carrier that if the cue is damaged they have to pay for the cue out of there own pocket. but i think thats only in this country.

I have done a few searches and it hasn't produced any useful threads. Can you provide some links?

        Thanks
