    Wity's butt problem

Some good solutions on here but the final one is going to involve Araldite.Sharpen a slender piece of wire to allow you to move the head of the screw to the centre, dip your jewellers screw driver in a tad of fast acting araldite and get it in the slot.Wait four hours(TV's quite good at the mo) draw free.

Yeah i'm thinking Aaldite will do it too. I've run out of the stuff at the moment so it'll have to wait till I get some more.
I've managed by poking around for another hour or so to align the screwhead and I can see its slot is going to be impossible to accept a screwdriver because its now filled in with superglue but araldite on the end of a stick the size of a straw might work where soperglue to superglue hasn't.

      It'll come.

So how much are you selling your ingenious cork butt plugs for!?!? LOL

Jesus Wity and I've already made a comment about you fiddling with it when you'd only had it a day.
I bet Trevor thought I was a bad customer but at least I'd had my cue months before I had to send it back for him to sort for me (I dented mine and had a bit more weight added. I didn't stick have the contents of the kitchen drawer up it)

I still reckon the rubber corks are great and will continue to use them as they protect the butt, you've only got to look at some old cues to see what yours will look like eventually. (Try the same on the mother in law Watford and you'll be seeking a divorce the next day )

Wont be using them with fittings that are open ended though like Trevors, lesson learned.

Lokk at Argee1977's 6 month old cue for sale for example:

Bet he would have liked a stopper in it although not one that breaks off lol.
