      £200,000 cue

if im not mistaken i think the guy has lots of fans in the football world, and a few of the premier club players have them inc a few managers !
i remember reading in to it and i suppose only these could afford to forlk out sutch cash on a stick.
to think my mates laughfed when i bought some of my cues !

i have no problem with the idea of spending 2k on a cue - just not one of those!

Footballers buying them is no big surprise, but really all thing considered if you spend upwards of £200 then I'd expect an excellent cue! So £2000 I'd basically expect it to cook my dinner!

Think how expensive it would be If it had a John Parris badge on it?

                  Arch

I am probobly inviting loads of abuse on mysel but i used to own one of these cues. I have had 2 actually, i has a silver pinstripe then upgraded to the silver double spiral which set me back a total of £1100. I am a cue collector and have lots of american pool cues, the most expensive being over £2000 but i bought the arch mainly for its uniqeuness.

I have to defend the cue. It actually played good, yes it was 22oz but really solid hitting. The grain and splices were perfect, very long elegant splices (12 inches) which gave a bit of forward balance to counteract the silver. They also have the best joint system around.

I totally agree that you would choose a white or pareris as a daily player but i really like the arch cues. I actually sold mine on the bay to an ozzie for 6-700 which i didn't think was such a bad return on my £1100.

You probobly all think i'm a knob now, but what the hell?

Whatever you like Consultant is all that matters really. I disagree with the joint part though, they were far to heavy for my liking when I used it and it makes them like "a 1 piece" to quote the maker.

Yes if that's what you like mate why not. If we all thought the same way things would be very boring. Personally I think the one I put the link to looks like a cue from argos and wouldn't play with it, but I bet david beckham thinks it 'wicked'.
