  • Paul hunter cue

I was a big fan of paul hunter and it upset me when he sadly passed away. He was easily my favourite snooker player and one of the best.

I know most things about paul hunter but ive always wondered what cue he used.

does anybody know what cue he used and where i could buy one?

    Thanks in advance.

pauls cue was a craftsman majestic that he then had 4 splices of ebony over the top of the tulip etc. and yes you can call dave or simon at craftsman cues and ask them for one.

I have a craftsman cue that I'm looking to sell. It's a 3/4 piece with 4 splices over a blue venner with a further splice towards the bottom of the butt. It's a great playing piece that also looks great. I've always had one pieces and can't quite get used to this one so hence the decision to sell.

Don't have any pictures yet but can take a few if you're interested.....

I was a big fan of Paul's and was lucky enough to meet him a few times. Never talked about his cue though. It was a 1 piece Craftsman cue though, not sure about it being a majestic and having 4 pieces of Ebony put over the those, kind of defeats the object really. Just looked like a standard ash and ebony cue to me, the 147 model on Craftsmans website.

it was originally a majestic but it would be cheaper and easier just to buy a plain cue.

is there a big difference between the two cues?
