Mmm, yes Mike, you are one of them as are several others, it is heartening that most posters here whether they have a commercial interest or simply a hobbyist one, are happy to put up opinions or "test" the possibility of a new product or idea, it is healthy that such things should be both questioned, applauded or condemned, if it is based on reason or experience. This particular thread is a good example of the value of free exchange, yes, there were some inappropriate posts but the general feel of the discussion has been balanced and well reasoned.

If you can send me an e mail to stan@1klik.co.uk I will forward you some more detailed technical drawings, as the locking system relies on complex angles to lock the joint in position. I would very interested in embedding this type of drawing on my web site and that of a couple of other partner companies in Germany.
I also have a similar joint with two locking postions which could benefit from your expertise.
As we have found during this thread, it is not the easiest principle to describe in words, your creativity has helped in this discussion, and I hope you are interested.
many thanks
Stan

When the technical drawings are on the site you will be able to see more clearly, also totlxtc will be doing another 3D animation for me which hopefully help.
Please e mail me an address and I will send you a joint (when the first batch is ready).

stan, you said all other joins rely on friction, yours does not. but if this is roughly how it works, then surely friction is the only thing making it work?

The angles in the profile on both the female and male section create the lock or the 1Klik! Not the friction between angled threads as in standard joints (and nuts and bolts)
Going for a game of snooker......catch you later

hurry up and send me a join! it's doing my head in trying to work out how it works...
better still, instead of playing snooker, send me that cue you've been using so i can have proper look at it working.
or send one of the other b&w cues with it in.
you've got my address mate. look forward to hearing from you.

I have had three cues made, I have one(which I am keeping), my business partner has one, and the other is in Chicago.
When the joints arrive from Germany you are more than welcome to have as many as you need, and I would like you to make me a unique MW cue if possible........please!
