This question is for Trevor, Mike or anyone who have some knowledge adout woods used to make a cue.
Ash and maple are usualy used but I saw on ebay a "taylor balanced cue" with a hornbeam shaft and a "j-p mannok" with a pearwood shaft, I've never heard about these woods before as it seems that these woods are not used today.
Does anybody know how plays cues with these shaft and why these woods are'nt used today?
