    Hi,

You should use the gel types to avoid it spilling all over the cue shaft!

    500th POST HALF CENTURY!!!

Hi, do you mean Evo Stik Impact in the rust-red tube or the 2-tube Evo Stih Epoxy Control? Thanks

Think it was the impact stuff in a tube mate. I used a tip clamp and left it over night. Was as strong as anything

Hahaha Yes. I just started playing snooker again after a 30-years hiatus and now I've got my own cue, I want to learn to re-tip it for myself.

Use the Loctite super glue gel... It's simple to apply and readily available... it's idiot proof.

Make sure your surfaces are flat.

Make sure there are no air pockets and press the tip on firmly in place.

Leave for 10/20 minutes and then trip to fit flush with a really sharp knife (a new Stanley blade is fine)
Push down on to the cutting surface with the cue to prevent the tip from separating as you cut.

Burnish the sides of the tip to prevent it from coming apart after trimming.

                Happy potting.

Will do. Now if only I can find it in the local shops... Might have to look online... Do you mean this one?

                  Thanks for the tips. Cheers!
