As I've said before I didn't buy an old Hixon I played with at Craftsman that I should have.
I just thought it was too silly!
It was £90, handspliced, 1 piece, 9mm, 58", all good so far....
          but ash and 14oz.
I blame Dominic Dale, I picked up a maple cue to play him with!
Anyway this Hixon felt great so when I got home without it I was gutted!
Went back a couple of weeks later and it was gone!

I was too scared to order a 14oz for my current cue seemed silly.

To be honest if I got that cue now I would probably have Trev make me a copy. F**k it in pearwood too! Let's go mad!

I wonder how much a 14oz, one piece, pearwood, Trevor White cue would cost!!!
Would the wife understand I was buying it and probably wouldn't play with it!
          Hmmmmmm

I am very simple. I will opt for a straight cue, that plays just like what I have now...
            all points being 100% even...
four ebony points with secondary burl prongs with some scale looking fancy veneers...
would be nice if I could have my name engraved on an ivory disc or plate at the butt end...
may be if it could come with the most beautiful grained ash shaft one could find, ....
and a very beautiful custom leather case to top it off. ......

Taking my cue, because it's mine, and no-one else is getting it.

At least not until Trevor has built me a replacement with an Ash shaft.

Cant quite make out from the picture jimmy but it looks similar to the cue i'm very much contemplating getting at some point in the next couple of months. Seen some pretty amazing pictures since joining, a good portion seem to involve Trevor White cues

Yeah can see that perfectly now! Think the only difference will be in that i prefer ash to maple, mind you its not like i've used many maple cues in my time. Still looks the business though

Thats a nice cue Jimmy, keep saving hard and I'm sure you will have your dream cue one day soon. I bought a Trevor White cue last year and am very happy with it he certainly does a fine job.

Here's some more of his cues in case you haven't seen them yet PJW.

Some amazing looking cues there. Thanks biggus, seen a couple of those cues in different threads i think. If they play half as well as they look you're onto a winner i reckon. Do you own any of these yourself? No doubt you'll have mentioned this a thousand times on here already i bet so forgive me for asking again
