Does it matter ? - if the man makes good cues and makes a good living out of making cues - I'm sure he doesn't care whether they do or don't use his cues. Over the years I've made cues for many professional players (Jimmy White, Tony Meo, David Cheung, David Gray, Steve Lee the list goes on) but it doesn't make me a better cue maker than Mike. I see quite a lot of Mike's work through my workshop for alteration of length, weight etc., but I can say that the standard of his workmanship is good and that is what he should be judged on - not who uses his cues !!!!!!!!!!

barbarossa..Many many people think because the most used cuemaker by pros is John Parris that he is the best, he's good no doubt of that but the reality is when a cuemaker makes you a cue without charge you'll have it wont you?

The guy asked a pretty simple question (one I dont know the answer too though) and gets this crap. He's not saying he is buying one or even interested in one just are there any pro's using one.

Hang in there barbarossa someone will get you an answer.

Maybe he just wanted an answer - perhaps it was to settle a bet Sadly I dont know or I would answer. However, the comments made above are true - Mike's cues are of an extremely high standard.

My post was more directed at Keith rather than you Wity. I understand what your saying.

If the poor guy came on here asking which pro wears a Rolex watch he doesn't want to hear how good Tissot or Rado are or who wears them or how Mr X made watches for at least 5 pros. I think its an interesting question because I have not seen his cues associated with any professional players either. Not like Trevor or Parris etc.

Hope we get an answer soon I'm sure ADR 147 will know.

Right simple answer to this is NO, the better answer is not sure, well its not been publicised if any of the pro are or are not using one of Mikes cues but I do know that a few of the pros are using some of his Cue Tips.

I gave out some of Mike's tips to the pros a few years ago at a comp and indeed by the quarter finals they were on a few of the pro's cues. Not sure if they have kept using them or not that would be a question for Mike to answer.

I think no top professional uses a wooldridge cue but that has to do more with marketing rather than craftmanship..
Professional tend to select a cue brand that will pay them better to advertise...
I own a wooldridge cue and its of a very high standard...

Pretty sure Mike has said on this forum somewhere that he neither knows of a pro using one he made nor does he care. and that if they want one they can pay just like everyone else.

As I said earlier, a good craftsman does not need to give away freebies to stars.

                            simple question, complex replies
                            again, only curious
if i determined to buy a cue, i do not care how many people or pros use that brand!!! just like my glover cue (how many pros use it anyway??)
