Weight change

Hi all.

I was just wondering, does it do any damage to the cue or anything if i was to get weight removed from a cue? such as affecting the balance or anything?

You would have to get a professional to do the job but I don't think it would affect the balance if the cue was made lighter.

You cant add to, reduce, or remove what is usually a piece of lead out of a length of wood and have the same balance unless the different size of the lead remaining is repositioned. So if you want the same balance but say lighter then measure the balance and ask the cue doc to keep it at that point if possible.
