Worth the wait?

I have a friend here that ordered a Parris Exclusive Ultimate a month ago and was told he should have it in 3 to 4 months.
He phoned them up last night (as I had been stirring him, telling him they wouldn't have even started it yet...still waiting for the tree to grow), anyway, they told him that they go out once a month to find wood and if its no good, they go out again a month later.
It sounds as though his cue is on track, as they told him should be finished late September.
I might run a book..

Worth the wait

While i am dissappointed at the big delays that can happen with regads to delivery of my cue, i do accept them and a bit more, where the PARRIS web site indicates 14-16 weeks, i am prepared to wait 24 weeks. It's not going to make me a world champion, but a PARRIS cue will give me a lot of pride of ownership. Love the PARRIS cue or not you do not get where John Parris has got from putting out rubbish. I have put a time constraint on delivery of 24 weeks i feel this is a resonable time to wait for such a quality cue. I would like to become accustomed to it by the beginning of the new snooker season. You've got to love this game. If passion for the game had any bearing on being world champion i would be, but thats not how it is in reality, i'm just a mug player.

The game is full of 'mug' players mate. Just like golf.
If the pro's didn't have us to support the game, then there would be no interest, then no money in the game.

In my opinion, that is not acceptable to wait 3-4 months for a cue. I know they are very high quality, and even though we all have different opinions about them they are very high quality, that is not really acceptable to have to wait that long, you wouldn't want it rushed, but why can they only look for wood once a month???

Ha, I think their wood is from China . LOL!

I'm not sure where it is from, but I wonder what their answer would be to 'Why can you only go once per month?'
