    So far as I know that Tony Ions who making Cue's since 1969.
    Is anybody know who making cue before Tony Ions?And she/he still making cues?

    Nah, theres bound to be a scouser at Peradons about to retire having worked on a lathe bunging out the basic all ash cue every 5 minuites for the last 50 years.

    Your probaby right though when it comes to quality cues, he will be missed when he finally hangs up his plane.

        By 'experience', I assume you mean most knowledge also?

        If this is what you are implying, I would not really say that experience equals knowledge or quality, because some of the best cues you will see are not necessarily made by those who are the longest serving cue makers.

        Can I just ask....?

        What is the definition of experience to you, cueinhand?

            I'm sorry to confused all of you!
            Let me restate my question:
            So far as I know that the cue maker-Tony Ions who making Cue's since 1969.
            And now he still making cue.
            Can anybody tell me who starting cue making before him?

                      As Wity said, the oldest cue manufacture company is Perdaon who have been making cues for some 200 years.
