As promised I have now pencilled in the last weekend in September for this years workshop. I know there has been a lot of interest in this and regret I shall have to keep this years group to a maximum of 10 people as I've decided to run this years workshop from my home and use only machinery readily available to any student. I know that Luke, in Devon has already bought himself a No.6 plane and he'll be bringing it with him. But for those of you who've contacted me from further afield (Sweden, Germany, Ireland, North of England and the Midlands), I would suggest you just bring cameras and notebooks. You'll all have a chance to do some work but it'll be easier if you take it in turns using my hand plane. If you contact me asap I'll pass on details of the nearest Motel,(just by TGI Fridays off jnctn 9 M27), so you can book accomodation. Weather permitting there'll be a bar-b-que on the Saturday and tea and refreshments will be supplied (thanks to my kind wife) throughout the 2 days.

No cost - free as promised originally when I was asked by forum members about being able to attend this years workshop either earlier this year or end of last - accomodation obviously will have to be paid by the students - but otherwise all tuition free - that's why it's been limited to 10 people and is based on those who made the original enquiries getting precedence. If someone from these original enquirers aren't able to attend, then the next in the queue will be offered the opportunitywww.cuemaker.co.uk

Hi Bongo - I had your name down to attend as you asked me when this first arose - it won't be filmed this year, mainly because I'm not doing it on such a large scale as last year at the Royal Victoria Country Park where more than 100 attended and it was in conjunction with the South's largest crafts fair - if you can't attend then I'm sorry, (if you need help in the future just call or pm me), I'll offer the place to someone elsewww.cuemaker.co.uk

I'll do what I can but, most or all of those attending will urged to bring cameras with them, so there should be plenty of filming going on - it's a bit difficult for me to do as I'll be demonstrating how to do things; would make an interesting sight though; plane in one hand, camera in the other and cue between my teeth (although I'm sure many on here could think of other places I might fit the cuewww.cuemaker.co.uk
