          6 from the right looks interesting - hard to tell on that photo might be a claud falkiner with no badge? the herbert holt is a collectable cue.

              Could well be a Claude Faulkiner I used to have a Cecil Harveson that was very similar aswell, shame about the joint above the splices.
              Just because its old, doesn't mean its worth a fortune!!

                      I just opened the attachement on the 1st post, the joint is in line with the baulk line on the table, either that or my eyes are gone.

                          someone has Offerd me a old Stevenson cue with a round badge Machine Spliced for 20 pound should i buy it Andrew if it is a harveson.how much do you think its worth

                            Hi,
                            I know your questions were directed to ADR but I thought I would reply although I wouldnt claim to be as knowledegeble as he is.

                            You will get more for the cue if you can source a harveson disc or better still a plaque and have it proffesionally fitted.

                            Dave Smith of cues and views may be able to point you in the right direction to obtain a replacement badge.

                            As to value I sold one for £200 although it was mint and 1 piece, the joint will bring the value down if selling to a collector. What is it like as a playing cue?

                            As for the Stevenson if its in fair condition its worth £20 all day.

                              never tried to play with it feels to heavy for me and i thought it was crap be in my snooker shed for a year or 2 will put a tip on tomorrow and try lt not sure it is a harveson.altho Andrew think it is a harveson
