Message to andrew aka ADR147

Just a thought, and what do other people think, would you be able to do a cue companies/makers list with about a sentence of description and level of quality/play, contact detail, website etc..

I ask you as you are probaly "The Man" to ask. I think it would benefit newcomers and regulars who are looking for a cue or want to read up on makers. Maybe Ferret could make it a sticky??? Just an idea.

That's a great idea! Helps out the cue makers, especially those who don't have websites, and saves a lot of time for people who're looking for the cue maker's info. It's a win-win situation really.

But instead of writing a sentence of description, wouldn't it be better to describe the budget range of each cue maker/brand? That way it helps steer clear any unwanted bias opinion. People can judge the cues from the other threads available on this forum.

I like the idea of the original post...maybe with one exception....
ADR might not like giving out too many contact details/websites etc... afterall, his bread and butter is from us buying from him.

Really its upto ADR. I just thought it would be good. Contact details would be just nice to have. Really just a list and a sentence about what the cues are like and where they would come from would be good.

i have sort of written such a thing along the lines of the tip guide i did, i am just not sure its right to publish it! i think it might be bettet to keep my opinions closer to my chest.
