    NOW THEN...

During the off season i had 3 wonderfully made cues by Trevor White but for a change i got cold feet about changing cues so i have asked Trev to put them up on ebay on my behalf so keep your eyes peeled in the next week or so. 2 of them are one piece cues with my own designed name plates in old ivory and a secondary bagde above bears my initials D.D. The other is a 3 piece cue. All have ash shafts and are 57.5 long and weigh 17.5 ounces and very stiff and play really well. The cue i use now is only 16 ounces and 58 inches long so thats why i was reluctant to change as the difference in weight is a lot.

    Dominic.

p.s i will gladly include a signed provenance with the sale of these cues on ebay. They will be sold around the 5th-10th August.
Dominic Dale made a post! He should make his own user name! It would be great to have more pros on here.

Well, just received a message from Ebay stating that the items have been cancelled due to the use of ivory in the name badges.

So, anyone who was interested in these cues will have to contact me directly or through the forum now.

There are a number of people who are keen to buy them all together, but if anyone is thinking of doing the same, please try to let me know within the next week. That way it will allow me time to speak with Dominic and find out what he'd like to do with them.

            Thanks all.

There are lot so US pool cues listed on ebay with elephant ivory inlays, joints, ferrules, and such. I think it is quite odd they cancel your listing because of that.

E bay's a joke- 4 months ago i listed a 1916 Tom Reece and stated that the badge was ivory. They also ended my listing even though it was obviously pre 1947. I re-listed stating that the badge was made from a four legged animal that also had a trunk and they had no problem with that!

lmao - i remember that, muppets. i once had a cue extension removed because they thought it was a firearm silencer. no amount of explaining would change their mind it gets flagged automatically and you can't list it!

Yes, Please upload some pics. Considering the cue maker, the player the cues were made for and the speccs...the "4play" is too long....:-)
