I noticed that 1 piece cue got a longer shaft and shorter butt while a 3/4 cue got a shorter shaft and longer butt. How does this difference have on the playability and the feel of a cue?

i own both and if there are well made there is no difference. exept for the weight i belive you can make a 3/4 cue alot heavier than a 1 piece with out losing the right balance.as for play in my opinion there is little difference. -
Given that both shafts are cut from the same wood block, does the shorter shaft get stiffer than the longer one?Comment
