You need to E mail them for a price list. They had about 6 or 7 cues in stock when I was there, so you can try them and perhaps do a deal on the spot, otherwise they will be happy to make you a cue. I found my cue slightly underweight sent it back on Thursday, they added some extra weight and returned the cue Monday cost me £30.00, how's that for good service!
Hi, Can you tell what's the spec of Ronnie's John Parris cue? Thanks

I don't know weight or length but I think it's the John Parris Traditional. I asked Stamford cues if they had a cue in stock with their own design joint and to my spec. They said no, but could make a cue for stock with their own joint. When made it happend to be a 3/4 jointed cue using Ebony, Thick Maple veneer and Ovangkol splice. I would have been just as happy with the plain 3/4 Jointed Ebony cue at I think about £230.00. I was lucky as the cue I ended up with, is spot on.

It's strange how this thread starts off by asking about Mastercraft cues and changes to the specs of R"O" Sullivan's cue.
I'm not having a go at anyone guys, as all comments are interesting and give good advise.

It just amuses me that all threads usually end up this way.

Trevor White just charged me for the postage when I wanted a little more weight in my cue from him.

What's happened to 1lawyer my posts look out of context now!

I'll quickly answer his last post:
John Higgins might use Northwest cues but top players don't always know best. Just look at some of the rubbish you see top 16 players with. All our opinions are valid. I didn't get a Northwest cue because I often find the splices uneven and I don't like the red glue marks. That doesn't affect how the cue plays though and loads of people think he's great. Just was hoping to hear another opinion on his refurb work. He's fixed a couple of my mates cues but that was more ferrule work not refinishing the shaft.

Well what about that Mastercraft cue then!

                specs

Hi there, I'm sure many people know these specs.

Ronnies traditional "style" 1 piece cue specs from John Parris, were between 58.1/8in & 58.3/8in 9.6mm tip and 18.1/4 oz to 18.1/2 oz.
Ronnie had several batches of these cues made using the one piece Traditional style.

The main difference is that the shaft on Ronnies cues were JP's "ultimate" shaft. ( this shaft is priced today at £460+vat ) These were badged as Traditional, with a serial number added to the butt badge
                don't miss!
