I'm using a thing I got off eBay called Ultimate Tip Tool. I use it for both my 9-ball and snooker cues. It does the trick for all my needs. The rest I just use the standard sandpaper and metal scuffer.

        1. bite the old tip off
        2. clean end of cue up with tool grinder at work
3.lightly grind end of tip with same grinder
        4.pick nearest glue up
        5. stick tip to end of cue
6.turn cue upside down lean against wall
        7. when dry finish shapeing on grinder
thats all there is to it no fuss or poncing about
So it's Rorschach and Prozac and everything is groovy

I used fine sandpaper for the tip. I do have a scuffer but find they are a little severe at times. I do have a pen lid type tip shaper that has a fine paper inside that i find very useful...also saves you having to carry sandpaper and risking it sliding down and sanding your cue for you

Yep, I find that bitting the tip off is the fastest and most effective way to remove the old tip. All hail Ronnie!

I will challenge anyone to put on a tip entirely by hand in Alaska.

what a bloody shame! possibly the funniest thread that's ever been on tsf.

light hearted banter based on keith's past and present comments, does not amount to 'slagging' him.

it's more a celebration of 'keithisms'

nonsense. it was just a bit of spontaneous fun, sparked by a humourous post, which other like minded people, or should i say victims of keith's own 'slagging' offensive, picked up on and it went from there.

unfortunately it looks like the mods killed it first.

shame. everyone needs a laugh once in a while...
