should be ok on either. just don't overdo it. it's only meant to open up the leather a bit to take chalk, so no need to beat it to death like you would a tough steak...

Quite rite too. those who live in glass houses should not throw stones, also if you are going to hold your self up as the best there is, best there was best there ever will be, and make factually incorrect statements about a multitude of individuals you have to expect that these people and more will come back fighting their own corner.

You have to expect to be shot down in flames or at best take criticism on the chin. In other words if you can't take it don't dish it out...

        Anyway enough from me....
Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!

Am I supposed to receive a PM or email when my posts are deleted? I would like to know why they are deleted. Since if I am wrong, I will know why so I will not be making the same mistake again? Is it possible and reasonable to ask for an explanation?

I don't recall ever mentioning any names, other than Walmart, with no cuss language, or being abrusive towards anyone.

All I said was that I liked to make my tips oval, because the older billiard players liked them as they think it would make the tip more responsive.

Then I said I have a secret adhensive agent that I use, which is purchased from the USA, I said it was secret and I did not want anyone to know what it is. It is indeed super glue from Walmart.

I jokingly said that i used my finger nail to cut and shape my tip, and I do nto think using one's tooth is allowed as far as being "handmade" is concerned.

These were jokes. I am no sure which rule I have violated according to forum rules. I am pretty sure I did not mention any names, or make any slander comment towards anyone like calling a cue maker con artist or something like that.

Could anyone please clarify it for me please? Thank you.

you're being too serious again. didn't you learn your lesson when the pool team turned on you and chased you out of the club?

but i'm on your side. re-instate the deleted posts. it was funny. nothing more.

I think everyone on the forum should relax, there's no need to be too uptight about everything, it's not as if they're having another war of words, just some funny comments going around, that's all. After all, forums are created for people from all over the world to get together and either have a serious discussion, or take a **** at something they all think is funny. Let's not limit the freedom of speech . Plus I don't think it constitutes as talking behind his back, when the comments are as clear as summer sky for everyone, including those mentioned to read.

I must say this is one of the friendliest forums i have been on. Ive been on some where people just correct your spelling or grammar all the time...which gets bloody annoying. I dont see anyone had done anything wrong. The person who was spoken about had enough to say about others and how they were so much better than everyone else, that they now have a reputation. But after all, if you cant take a little banter, dont go to a forum...simple

I'm surprised the Scots have been fairly decent in their responses!
