  • parris cue joints

    Hi,

I have been given a broken top section from a john parris cue. It has a crack in the ebony splicings running on either side. I am starting get interested in cue repairs and have done a few jobs and want to try and fix it.

I am going to remove the ebony and resplice it with new ebony. However, my only concern relates to the joint. It has become a bit wobbly, how is the joint held in place into the ash shaft, will i be able to remove it and re-attach it? Is there any way i can fix this?

    Thanks

The joint will be glued and screwed.
