Robert Osborne cue

Im looking at a cue and it has a green plate on the end of the butt which says Robert Osborne London.
Would this be a cue before he teamed up with Will Hunt?
How much would it be worth, is it as good quality as the modern Hunt & Osborne cues?

its only in the last 18 months that robert and will have teamed up, so can't see the quality being much different to be honest...As for value I couldn't tell you sorry

well i own 1 hunt and osborne green plate and the quality is awsome.
i bought 1 cos me mate has got 1 and regually knocks in tons.

so i found out its him not the cue lol

anyway i cant play witha 3/4 cue, been using my 1 pce trev cue for that long i cant change. shame cos the cue is awesome.

My friend has one of those and it is a great cue. Did you try it out?

I sold a very nice green plate a few month's ago.

It was a very well made cue, one of the best I have seen.
When I bought it I was told Trevor has re coned it, so not sure if the quality was from Trevor's work or from new.

Only thing I hate is the joint they use as with Parris they are terrible to screw up even before a few pint's.

Makes you think about what cues are the best second hand buys though. Wonder if now having Hunt on the badge will help the price stay high.
Parris and Trevor Whites seem to hold the value much better. I think that is something to think about if buying second hand.

Once saw a Robin on flea bay tempted to bid, didn't becuase it was Ash otherwise the spec I was looking at at time. When I checked to see what it went for it was £80 I was gob smacked. Worth buying just to sell on, get more than 80 traded in at Craftsman.

When I posted this I hadn't really clocked that mattyshiobi22 was selling something similar and paid £490.

Are they worth more with Hunts name on?
