.4 of a mm that is specific!
            Is .5 just wrong?

not sure about anyone else but although i've listed my specs...they are subject to change and have been for years....you think something suits you ideally then you try something else...just to see if its better.....i've tryed almost all combinations of weights, balance points tip sizes etc through many cues and just about come full circle again!
I do find a lighter cue less than 17.5 oz helps me generate more spin...and a heavy cue kills my cue power but does help me pot more balls when the whites tucked up on the cushion.....

i've tended to swap cues to try specs rather than alter an existing cue..'cause at least if it doesn't suit you you can always go back to it....once you've altered it thats it!!

anyone else experimented with specs to good or bad effect?

Yeh I've pretty much listed my specs. apart from balance is now 17.5 which is fine but I wouldn't go less than that.
The only thing I'd consider changing is the weight.
I had more put in the cue because it felt a little light on the snooker table even though it was fine for pool and not playing snooker at moment (I know I've said all this before).
I might consider having a lighter copy of my cue made in the future. When I'm rich!
Doubt I would alter my cue now. Might like to try pear too.
