Martin Chesworth Cues?

I just came across Martin's name as I did a search on Google, and noticed that he had a shop in Sheffield. I can see that he stocks some of Mike's cues but could anyone tell me whether it would be worth a visit to his shop as it is only 45 minutes away.

Any help would be appreciated as always.

I went to see Martin some years ago when he was setting up his shop. He's a decent bloke and has good cue range.

I'd also recommend a trip to Stamford Cues, they have some cues in stock, and a table to try them out on. They make some great cues prices start at around £200.00upwards.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like they will be on the list along with Craftsman at Kippax. I hadn't really thought of Stamford, so should perhaps give them a go too.

i went to martins shop a few times as 1 of the best ranges in the country 100s of cues master cues,wooldridge,parris,osbourne,some old cues ,adams and is own brand and quite afew others lots of cases and a table to try them out on only problem is out of ever shop i have been to he is the most expensive. £240/£260 for a 1 piece master cue no thanks.

Mmm seems a bit expensive. Someones got to pay for the overheads of a shop I guess. I would like to buy without seeing, but think it would be like buying a car without a test drive and regretting not doing so.

Plus the fact that if I am going to be spending a couple of hundred, I can't really afford to not try one, can I ?

Stamford make a great cue mate but Chesworth is to expensive you can get a lot more for your money elsewere.

Hi,

Craftsman is a good choice, Green baize up in cleveland is relly good value for money.

There are also a couple of people I know who sell cues privately this would save you some money as there is no vat etc..
