I would actually go for a Craftsman first.
Or a Trevor White (which would be more expensive) but he's very busy at moment and backlogged.

Robin Cues seem to be good value and Mike Wooldridge is another one at the more premium end. I have less experience of these two though.

Well I have Robin cue and I can not say anything else but good things about his cues and he is also a great person to deal with

If you are from Hong Kong, I believe you have to go through the sole agent there.... that guy is also the sole agent of Trevor and Dave Coutts.
I haven't tried any NW yet, but I know it is not expensive at all .... If NW is not charging extra, I may order a John Higgins replica for fun

I know JH has one but if it was my choice Trev and Dave Coutts would be prefered to NW. I've seen loads of them and had work done at NW too so I'm not stabbing in the dark.
I've not used Dave Coutts but Trevor has done work for me a few times and made me a cue and IMO is in a different class to NW cues.
IMO though got mates and know pros who sware by Kev's work but I'm afraid not me.

My North West cue is one of the best cues I have ever used, and I have tried countless cues from many makers. Kev is a top bloke and great to deal with. TW is another great option, but you have to be p a t i en t.. as it worth it.

...thanks for reading!! very nice to express my urgent feeling to you all. i have been playing snooker for 2 years, highest break 79, which happened before the last 3 months' regularly practice with a personal familiar clubcue. i have been thinking of buying a new cue for long as i can't and shouldn't bring my previous rubbish cue to london from my country, china.
hopefully i can get a second hand cue, which is from someone really love snooker and take good care of cues.
as i really have few methods of hunting for the weapon, any useful information would be great helpful for this junior player,thanks indeed!!!:snooker:
