Ryan Day's Cue

Not normally a question i ask as normally not interested in who plays with what. But watching the game tonight against Ali Carter made me wonder, what cue does Ryan Day use as looks a really nice cue.

It's a Trevor White as far as I know. Tulip wood butt splicing by the looks of it.

:snooker: It looks like the cue I use a John Parris Elite, but many of the cue makers do this type of cue. Mathew Stevens also uses this butt design.

My next cue I hope will be made by Trevor, with the same butt design just need to iron out what needs changing, My Parris is 58.5 long 10mm ferrule and a pretty slim butt. I think the changes needed will be 58.25 long 9.5mm ferrule and a slighty thicker butt :snooker: Cannot wait to make my order

Mine's a one piece JP Ultimate, 58 1/4 inch, 9.5 mm ferrule & a 30 mm butt. You could try it before changing specs

Has Trev confirmed this, I'm still not convinced and that list is out of date now. I know Ryan is from Wales but I just think someone is putting two and two together rather than actually knowing from Ryan or Trevor.

no i was on the phone to dominic while he was practising with ryan and i asked him. i have not spoken to trevor about it.

Another little known fact is that Trevor made the shaft for that cue from Moses's staff!!!!
