Help, Retipping, Which Glue?

I'm retipping my cue this week. Just waiting for my tips to arrive in the post...and so to the question...

1) Which glue should i use. i'm thinking about loctite super glue gel
2) how long should i leave it to rest afterwards before shaping the tip
3) how long before i can hit a ball

Any ideas, suggestions. Preferably if you've actually used the glues in practice or have experience retipping .
