  • Reasons for changing cues?

    Hi,

I am not sure why, each time i change cue, i play really well and above my average consistently in the first 2 months, but then get back to normal levels.

I am just wondering, do new cues actually give a pyschological boost each time?

I am planning to switch from 3/4 cue to 1-piece hopefully will give me better feel....

    Hope to share your experience.

You should be sticking with the same cue

.. that's why your forms dipping.

Look at any great player - what's one
    thing they've got in common..?

They've had the same cue for months/
    years/decades?

Pick a cue and STICK WITH IT!

A new cue can give a player confidence,

"Doing what you've never done, may just get you what you've never got"

      CONFIDENCE!

That's not the only reason, there are negatives...it depends on your situation!
