If these claims are not true, then he can always come back and state otherwise and explain why his customers have missgivings!

this is exactly the type of response which led other members 'up the wrong alley' in the past.

open honest discussion is what forums are about. protecting the guilty should be left to lawyers.

keith was allowed to say what he wanted to many people. myself included. he even called me a con man! (lucky i got a sense of humour and been around long enough for people to know it was a ridiculous thing to say ).

yet i did not see any of his posts deleted at the time....

poolqjunkie, admittedly, has got the bit between his teeth right now. but why not? he too was insulted by keith on more than one occasion, and at the time had done no more than ask pertinent, relevant, questions.

so, imo, understandable that pq is now 'getting his own back'.

also, imo, it's best to let these things run out of their own steam. by joining the debate, more questions are raised and the cycle continues.

more to the point, i wonder whether stephen23 feels it is fair to see this 'character assassination' at the moment?

finally, and once more imo, i don't see assassination myself. i see self inflicted business suicide.

As far as I know you've never dealt with Keith nor seen one of his cues. Personally I find the extent to which you seem to be enjoying posting in this thread disgusting, and I don't believe for a minute you're doing it either to help Stephen or to 'inform the members'.

I do not see anything PJ has said that has been wrong. He is clearly discusted by what has happened and is entitled to his opinion and has tried to help with the problem in hand. So please lay off of the guy and go and spell check some other thread and let others have a discussion. When it gets out of hand then it will be a problem.

At the start when Keith first came on the forum i thought his posts were well written and he seemed ok i'm retiring, i'm at an age to pass my knowledge on & just want to help ...bla bla... & he put the time in ....nothing wrong so far.

Then it all took a twist as basically he actually came on to do a bit of business, which is ok, but nobody had seen his work despite his wild claims of this that & the other, then his new website launches...strange for someone winding down???

Then came all his strange ideas..all been mentioned so won't go into them, and the cue maker challenge very brave but backed up by what exactly?

I believe talk is cheap....anyone can talk a good game but if its backed by nothing you will soon get rumbled eventually & thats what's happened here...sadly in some cases at the customers expense.

I was tempted to order a cue myself after hearing all the talk not because i needed one i have plenty.... but just to see one for myself and form my own opinion but i'm so glad i didn't, maybe we were better placed in the uk to suss it all out & as none of us had seen one from a so called "established" maker the alarm bells start ringing.

I feel sorry for Stephen23 he's ordered a cue in good faith, waited for it, received it with great expectation.........opened it....then gets that gutting sinking feeling you get when you feel you've been mislead, ripped off etc..........then if thats not bad enough at worst when this happens you get a replacement or a refund & he can't even get that!! so he's out of pocket with his hard earned cash....has a sub standard cue & no sign of it being sorted & no doubt loads more hassle yet to come...under the circustances i think he's been very good about it.

Everyone has bad days at the office, but blimey a cue like that should never have been sent out in the first place...it would only ever end in tears, and to promote yourself on a public forum...surely knowing you can't produce the goods would always end in disaster & thats whats happened..........had his work been good Keith could have no doubt done very well with a few recommendations.

If he's got health issues thats a genuine shame i don't wish that on anyone but he's created his own mess here and in the real world we all have to stand or fall by our own actions.

When he messed up, he should have owned up and took it like a man, done the right thing and refunded everybody who he''s left out of pocket, to at least then come out of it with a bit of dignity & respect.

To take people's money, let them down, cause havoc then run away leaving a mess is bang out of order & not acceptable in any walk of life in my book.

All just my opinion how i see it, if i've got anything wrong i'm sorry please correct me & Keith would also be more than welcome to set the record straight with us all .....especially the good people who have been left out of pocket!
