I have a 3/4 Parris cue, recently the cue has started to make a tinny sort of noise when playing certain shots. It has gradually been getting worse and now its got bad enough that I need to do something about it.
After loads of messing around tapping the cue and so on, i think it is down to the joint coming very slightly loose after a few shots. When i first get to the club the cue is ok for about a frame, then starts to sound and feel bad. I'm not 100% sure though. Has anyone heard of this happening before.
Anyway I'm thinking of rubbing a little bit of candle wax on the thread of the joint to see if that helps, failing that a little bit of plumbers tape.
Anyone any suggestions or ideas?
