What I meant by my post was that not ALL Parris cues of a particular model or style will be solid or stiff, as it will depend on the individual piece of timber used in the shaft, and, will also depend on the overall specs of the cue.
Also, there's no reason a good 3/4 cue can't feel as good as a good one piece cue, again, it depends on the specs and timber of the cue along with how it's been made.
In my honest opinion, people get the idea of one piece and 3/4 being different mainly becuase the 3/4 cues tend to be a little heavier by nature of how they're built, and, there's nothing like weight in a cue to kill the sound of the contact.
Maybe this has something to do with this idea of more feel to a one piece cue, who knows.
