ultimate cue on ebay

I often look at the cues for sale on ebay and ive noticed a john parris ultimate cue that has been sold on there about half a dozen times by different sellers over the pasy 10 months or so, i find it a bit strange that this cue keeps popping up and it makes me think that there must be something wrong with the cue,i was just wondering if anyone on here owns the cue now of knows anything about the cue?, the item number is 200294933337

someone said it's fake,the real one should be "ULTIMATE CUE",not"Ultimate Cue"

i just think it very strange that this cue turns up on ebay so much, and yes i have an ultimate cue and the lettering on the name badge is different, mine says, ULTIMATE and the one for sale says, ultimate, if anyone here is thinking about bidding beware.

don't buy cues on ebay from sellers you don't know about its a simple as that. its a risky business if you don't know what you are doing.

And it should be quite easy to take properly focussed pictures of goods to be sold. I have the feeling that those sellers do not want to show all.
So i will not buy a cue from not proper made pictures.

I would NEVER EVER buy a cue off Ebay. You'd have to be crazy to do so in my opinion.

The Ultimate cue on eBay I don't think is fake, because I was going to have a bid on it myself. So I rang Parris Cues yesterday morning and spoke to John Parris himself who told me the Ultimate Cue number matches the splicing and veneers when it made. Also the reason why the Ultimate Cue is in lower K's because around the time the cue was made his engraver was in hospital and he was using someone else to engrave the logo disks. But all logo disks should be in caps now.

sounds like it might be genuine then but don you think its strange that this cue seems to be on ebay almost every month,it just makes me wonder if there is something wrong with the cue maybe its damaged or something.

Yeah it could be bent or something, when I was on the phone to Parris ended up ordering a cue anyway. Ebay is a risk to buy a cue from?

it doesnt look genuine to me,it might have an exclusive badge on it but a parris exclusive cue has an ebony butt with for secondary splices of rosewood and a facing splice of ebony all with green veneers the cue in question is totally different, the butt doesnt look like ebony, it doesnt look like it has 4 secondary splices and the wood doesnt look like rosewood plus it doesnt have green veneers, i wouldnt bid on it.

Just got the pic and swung it round and straighted it up.....that badge is bad! Not only is it wonky but the whole print is off and the words EXCLUSIVE are off center too.
