I have a McDermott pool cue that has joint protectors, does anything like that exist for snooker cues?

best thing to do is be careful where you leave your butt and especially avoid putting foreign objects up it (wity!) and don't screw the 6 inches into it too hard.

The cue I am using is a Tony Wilshaw with a 1Klik butt joint, it measures around 9mm. It is getting very scratched as were I play has no carpet down
