Leather Butt pads

Anyone know where I can get leather butt pads from?

would you believe i made one for my cue with a leather key fob, the type you get from car garages, just get a stanley blade and cut the stitching, then fold inside out and glue the sides that are coloured and has the garage advertising on together, then cut to suit and glue to the borrom of your cue, i used araldite!.

Don't know where you can get them from but i do know the best i have ever seen are on the Hunt and Osborne cues. Maybe if you give them a call they can help.

I have done this using a piece of leather ig to from that medieval role-playing guys. It was a three millimeter leather. I cutted it roughly oversized, glued it with an elastic glue to the butt and sanded it to shape. To protect the edges i used the trimming stuff available for edges and soles at leather shoes. It was easy to apply with a small sponge.
It was a matter of about an hour.
