  • New Cue Wanted!

I am giving some serious consideration to buying a new cue. I am currently playing with an elite cue I bought for £10 around 17 years ago, so I think I have had good value for money out of it. I have heard a lot of good things about Welshpool trading cues on here, for £120 is that as good as possible to get for that amount of money? Would appreciate any comments or advice, many thanks.

yep, I bought a Welsh Dragon from WelshPool Trading last October and I'm delighted with it - you certainly can't go wrong with them ... the other name in the frame I'd suggest in that price range is Craftsman Cues (a friend has one) ...

that's not to knock Jonny's other suggestions of Mastercraft or Greenbaize - they both have good reputations but I have no experience of them personally ...

If you can stretch another £40 go take a look at Mike Wooldridge Shark Series best value for the money, but if not Greenbaize will be able to sort you out in that price range.

There is quite a lot of information on different cue companies in the cues section of this forum already if you want to look.
