I have been looking for something to stop the butt joint on my cue getting damaged, has anybody bought one of these from ebay?

Hi there a friend of mine has a JP Special Cue and he got one on these protectors from eBay, think he said it cost him a tenner.
As hes a mardy twat when losing it comes in very handy when he missus an easy shot cos he slams down the butt of the cue. If I'd owned a Parris cue I think I would invest in one and the qualities pretty good too.

Well, I've been using nothing to protect butt joint of my Mike Wooldridge cue, I just take extra care when I'm playing in order to avoid any damage. It's just a case of discipline.
