storing cues in the house?

I currently store my growing collection of cues individually in cases on the floor , I'm considering buying a rack to store cues in the house instead of buying a new case every time i buy a new cue, can someone categorically state that If cues are stored upright in a cue rack away from temperature fluctuations and fluctuations in humidity they will not warp??

Well I stop short of that but can tell you my experience.
I have 6 cues in a rack that have been there for two years with no ill effect.
I do have to say though that my playing cue lives in the case under the table not the rack.
