S. Ascot and sons old maple 1 piece for sale 1920's-1930's.
Thought id put this up on the forum before I throw it on ebay. Lovely old S. Ascot and sons 1 piece maple cue. Looks like it has at some point in its life been retapered and has a slight bend 4 inches from the tip. The shaft has a very thin taper and would describe it as medium to stiff. Handspliced ebony butt with a single birdseye maple frontsplice. Beautifully made. I have recently done the cue up as was in quite bad condition. Now looks and plays lovely and is very well balanced.
