  • S. Ascot and Sons Cue - FOR SALE

    S. Ascot and sons old maple 1 piece for sale 1920's-1930's.

Thought id put this up on the forum before I throw it on ebay. Lovely old S. Ascot and sons 1 piece maple cue. Looks like it has at some point in its life been retapered and has a slight bend 4 inches from the tip. The shaft has a very thin taper and would describe it as medium to stiff. Handspliced ebony butt with a single birdseye maple frontsplice. Beautifully made. I have recently done the cue up as was in quite bad condition. Now looks and plays lovely and is very well balanced.

Badge has worn over the years but used to say:

    S. Ascott and Sons
    Leytonstone
    E11
    London

    Open to offers.

    Spec
    58 Inch
    17.5 - 18oz
8mm tip with Mike Wooldridge Supertip

Looks like the 's' shaped warp Mike mentioned on his website unless I'm mistaken? But it looks beautiful anyway
