Glad you enjoyed it CC. I was told when I first started , bad tables make bad players . Of course I didn't appreciate what was being said but once you get a bit better and play on a cloth and table that you can just stroke everything in, instead of having to batter the balls around you soon see the benefits.
The slide on new cloths is quite a thing to see first time around isn't it.
Yes the slide was interesting to witness as I had heard a lot about it on TV and here, but although it can prove useful, its not something I will miss. What i will miss and crave for, is playing on a quality table like that match table, I felt like a kid in a sweet shop realising the shot making possibilities etc. They dont generally let people play on this table at this club and its reserved for the resident pro, but its mad me realise what I am missing and has made me think that traveling a little further afield to play on a quality table is worthwhile.
