Perhaps a link to the thread where you refurbished it might help.

To be honest Philip I don’t think people outside of TSF really appreciate the work that has been done. It’s just another snooker table to most.. It would be nice to find a buyer that appreciates the work and made a proper offer, at this rate though I fear I’m going to have to give it away just to make room for the next one?!?! I don’t want to dismantle and store it, but that might be the only way of holding out for a little extra? But then I know some more serious players wouldn’t buy a table that they can’t see in one piece..

Either way I think the next project will be the last! There’s certainly no money to be made refurbishing tables, not from my limited experience anyway....

I think your right Steve with how people don't appreciate things like snooker tables and the design and work that goes in to them ,when I sold my steel block B &W at the start of the year, I took ?200.00 less than I could have got ,it went to a guy that had built his own room on the back of the house so it was going to a private owner where the table would be looked after and he was also local .There was a club in Wales that wanted it and I could have got a bit more ,but I think I made the right choice as the table won't get beat up .There is always someone somewhere that will want one ,so hopefully yours will go at some point .

Steve - I know from a monetary aspect this may not sound a great idea but if there was a social club that you or friends use that would appreciate a great table like yours, what a great gesture it would be to donate it so that many snooker fans get that chance to play on the clubs "new match table". You would get years of admiration and compliments!!

Of course that is a last resort, but at least it would be one with a sweetener in its tail.

Maybe it would be possible to put an ad for your table somewhere in the marshall arena in milton keynes like the entrance hall or lounge area where the current and next 4 pro events are taking place , it would be bound to get interest there .

Table is no longer for sale...

It’s the old saying I’m afraid, If something seems to good to be true it usually is! Today after weeks of patiently waiting like an idiot for the 1996 World Final table bought on Evil Bay.. The inevitable message to say they now want me to give them a further 500 pound to cover the courier charge!! Like hell am I going to give 500 quid to someone in Jersey that I have never met for a table I have never seen! Be Warned!! If you see this table advertised anywhere Do Not buy it! It’s a total scam. Fortunately I can claim back the money I paid through PayPal, so it’s more of an annoying inconvenience to me, but I really should have know better.

At least I can stop dreaming about steel block cushions now and just focus on what really matters and that is playing the game on the fantastic wood cushion refurbished table I have sitting right in front of me...

Dammed right Steve, dont feel daft we all have dreams!! Sometimes we just need a wake up call to remind us of what we already have. Now, invite as many local players as you can by whatever means possible to play you in handicap knockouts, have fun, enjoy life and make the most of that beautiful table... All the best!

Sorry to hear that Steve , sometimes it takes things like this to happen so you can appreciate what you already have some more..

Look on the bright side, at least you didn’t sell your existing table beforehand . Now that would have been painful

I saw that table months ago it’s a Riley, they said it it was the world championship ,yet it said Nigel bond ,Steven Hendry British open final , the table plaque did not match the fake certificate . I emailed them and asked them to explain it .They couldent even fake two certificates properly ,I contacted evil bay and let them know ,but with no response ,someone I know was looking for a table at the time so I checked it out for them ,if I remember the pictures were of the table in a un decorated room that looked derelict .Bunch of scamming ******s .

                                Steve,
I apologize if it’s already been covered but if I you really want a steel blocked table can’t you just add them to your existing table ?. I presume the thing stopping you would be cost ?
