Hi guys, not been on for a while, hope everyone keeping well.
Looking for some advice. Someone at our club put a tear on our snooker cloth and didn’t even have the guts to report it. I’m looking to do a small repair in it to stop it getting worse. Have a couple of ideas, was thinking of putting very thin double side tape under the V tear and then using a cocktail stick very lightly touching the edges with minimum amount of super glue to bond edges and stopping it fraying. But not sure if super glue will burn the cloth?
second option, I have some superstick fabric adhesive which says its good for underlay and carpets foam and paper so this should be safe enough to use. Would still like to bond edges with super glue, this is only temporary till we get new cloth fitted.
Have any of you guys done this before? Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers Ricky
