I'm no expert. Here's my 2 pence. Regular brushing, napping and ironing might sort it.

Obviously I'm guessing as I can't see your cloth but Hainsworth match does feel like the nap is standing up compared to a number ten or 6811.
Been told not to iron Hainsworth as much as you would the other cloths. Personally I wouldn't be using any spray on any cloth on my table.
I was also told to turn the iron down a bit because of the nylon content of the Hainsworth.

              Hey Jack!

If you press your hand flat onto the table then move up and down can you get the cloth to move easily under your hand? If so, then it could be the cloth has loosened. Where is the table located? In the house or an outbuilding?

Is that the system Justin fits? Really good if it is, I think Steve did his own version iirc. There isn't any change in atmospheric conditions in the room is there? When it's humid our table goes from rapid to feeling like its got a coating of treacle on it.

Probably related to the storm we had? My table is also in an outbuilding and when it’s very wet for a couple of days it can slow the cloth. I now leave my table heating on permanent and this seems to almost eradicated the problem! Also I have an AC unit which is also on permanent at 20degrees C.

If your cloth is tight then it shouldn’t need a re-stretch! Probably just the bad weather affecting the cloth. Let us know if it improves

Are the cushions playing consistent ,or is just the bed cloth .All tables seem to play a bit off some days ,especially tv tournaments ,got to remember those tables are set up in big venues with fluctuating temperature, table heaters help but don’t solve all problems .What table do you have ,is it steel or wood cushions .
