Hope you all had a nice Christmas.
just a query on torque setting on table bolts. I built a table a few years back and it turned out great. I never used a torque wrench, just done it by feel. Again today I helped a friend build his table as it was his he tightened it up by feel, again ok.
We had 3 tables done at out club and the cushion bounces were so bad it was obvious the bolts were not tight enough, very careless job as some bolts were not even finger tight. Again tightened them up by feel but this time I think they could do with a little bit more, am older and weaker now lol.
So my question is, if I was using a torque wrench is there a standard setting for the cushion bolts. Can you do damage if you went too tight?
