Hello,
My name is Gwen, and i am a french snooker fan.
I used to live in the UK between 2002 and 2006, and I discovered Snooker back then (Shaun Murphy's title)
I've been dreaming about having a table since then.
I recently purchased a rather OK french billiard table that I want to convert. It is about 8 feet long.
I plan to convert the cushions to snooker L-shape rubber. (they are rather pointy as of now)
But the question is : what size are these rubber things supposed to be ? I've found descriptions of 1/2, 3/4 and 7/8" L shape rubber…
I plan on using 2" balls (and maybe also smaller ones : I have a set of 1,5" balls already) and making the pockets the real size, based on templates I've found on the net.
Is there a common combination that is known to work well ? Like for instance :"8 feet table, 2" balls, 3/4" rubber at a certain height " ?
Because I have very few experience, I am a bit (a lot) confused right now…
Thanks for any help you could provide !
