Our club is looking for new cushions for the match table (£1500 quoted) as they say the pockets are too tight (billiard cut) so no one wants to play on it so it's neglected most of the time. I've told them that the pocket profile needs re-shaping so there's no need for new cushions, I'm going to make a profile template based on the table in the next room, present it to the club committee and get the table fitter to re-shape the match table pockets the next time the table is re-clothed, my thanks to these videos.
